Together Women's Health, a leader in the field of women's health, is adding a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to our rapidly gowing team!

The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for charge entry and processing for 3rd party payer and patient accounts. Ensures billing codes and modifiers accurately reflect each patient’s diagnosis and performed procedures for office visits. This role ensures timely processing of payments and works very closely with accounts receivable partners on rejections.

Must have OBGYN Medical billing experience. Required. 

• Enter charges into the system with accuracy
• Identify errors and process correction of charges
• Monitors delinquent accounts
• Provides the highest level of customer service and is committed to resolving patient issues in a timely manner
• Payment posting and maintaining appropriate aging amounts
• Full cycle patient billing including payment plans, printing/mailing bills, phone calls, and other tasks as assigned
• Insurance and benefits verification
• Contacts third-party payers to resolve payer issues, expedites claim processing, and maximizes medical claim reimbursements
• Other duties as assigned by management.

· Graduate from certified program or college/university (required)

· Allscripts EMR Experience: 1 year (preferred)

· Experience and insight into the revenue cycle to maximize collections and reimbursement (preferred)

· CPT/Procedure codes knowledge

· ICD10 diagnosis coding

· Solid communication skills both written and oral

· Previous experience working within a large, private OB/GYN medical practice (required)
