Medical Receptionist/Front Desk clerk

The Women's Imaging Center, a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full time Medical Receptionist/Front Desk clerk to join their growing team.

Applicants with prior radiology receptionist experience will be given priority. 

The Medical Receptionist/Front Desk clerk is a brand ambassador and is responsible for providing a warm welcome to every patient, every time. This role must provide outstanding customer service to each patient either on the phone and/or in person. The Medical Receptionist is also responsible for greeting patients, scheduling future appointments, and utilizing the Electronic Health Record system in a professional and efficient manner.

This position will be at our Highlands Ranch practice Monday-Wednesday and our Denver/Cherry Creek practice Thursday-Friday. 

• Must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service with a smile and ensuring each patient's encounter with our practice is professional, warm and caring and has met their needs.
• Entering and updating patient’s insurance information with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiently utilizing the Electronic Health Record system to complete the registration process.
• Complete the check out process by assisting the patients with scheduling future appointments.
• Preparing patients and their charts for their upcoming exams.
• Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing.
• Answer the incoming scheduling calls and schedule patients with referrals. Scheduling a minimum of 20+ patients/day will be required.
• Experience in a medical setting is preferred.

• 1+ years of previous medical office experience required
• Athena, MyChart, or Epic experience strongly desired/preferred.
• Strong and accurate communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask.
• Must be tech savvy and comfortable working with an EHR system in a fast paced environment.
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs of charts, supplies, etc.
