Overview

The Revenue Cycle Manager – Revenue Integrity is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance and optimization of revenue-generating processes within the Revenue Cycle department for a growing women’s health-focused organization.

 

This role serves as a liaison between internal RCM functions, third-party vendors, clinical technology and other functional areas within the organization, with a focus on identifying opportunities to enhance revenue capture, reduce leakage, and maintain regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of OB/GYN billing and coding, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving accuracy and efficiency in the revenue cycle process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends in coding, charge entry, and reimbursement to identify opportunities for revenue improvement and education.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for RCM-related vendor partnerships, including billing and coding services and analytics platforms.
  • Evaluate vendor performance using KPIs, SLAs and routine review processes.
  • Troubleshoot escalations and ensure vendors are aligned with the organization’s goals and standards.
  • Conduct and direct regular audits of charge entry data to ensure compliance with payer guidelines, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the coding, billing, and A/R teams to support a clean claim process and minimize denials or rework.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to staff; assist in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Lead and support the implementation of new systems, tools, or processes related to the revenue cycle.
  • Develop training materials and change management strategies to ensure successful initiative deployment.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to charge capture, productivity, and revenue trends to inform leadership decisions.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to improve overall revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical billing/revenue cycle, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
  • Proficiency in EHR and practice management systems (athenaOne experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a growing organization.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working in an MSO or multi-specialty medical group environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Current AAPC CPC or COBGC certification, with demonstrated knowledge of OB/GYN coding, charge entry, and reimbursement practices.

 

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%; may include air travel for corporate training.
