Job Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Assists the Practice Manager with recruiting, hiring, orientation, retention, training and continuing education, performance development, teammate relations, disciplinary action, and termination of clinical staff.
- Oversee day-to-day staffing for clinical staff including coordinate vacation and personal time off requests for clinical staff
- Be a patient advocate. Ensure that assigned unit or location strives for a best-in-class patient experience every patient, every time. Takes swift action to resolve any patient issues that arise within their assigned unit or location.
- Assists the Practice Manager in identifying, aligning, executing, and monitoring on assigned unit’s or location’s operational and business plans that support the stability and growth of the overall practice financial performance.
- Support the PM in achieving ENPS/NPS benchmarks by monitoring Google and Podium reviews and quarterly eNPS surveys.
- In collaboration with the Regional Director and Practice Manager, develop and execute performance improvement plans that address gaps in the patient journey, reduce overhead leakage, and enhance clinical and operational quality and efficiency within the clinic. Support the Practice Manager in implementing practice-level operational and business plans that promote the stability and financial growth of the practice.
- Helps to maintain inventory and supply to meet the needs of the clinic while staying in line with budget.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with appropriate regulatory bodies.
- Develop clinical policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support operational needs.
- Serve as the laboratory liaison.
- Support clinical operations by providing coverage and assistance to clinical personnel during staff absences or increased patient volume.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
- Active LPN license or Certified Medical Assistant
- At least 5 years of clinical experience
- OB/Gyn Experience highly preferred
- Athena EMR experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior managerial experience preferred, but not required
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments (required if managing licensed clinical support team members).
- Highly proficient navigating EMR system(s).
- Superior patient care service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop strong and supportive working relationships with a wide variety of people and backgrounds.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills; ability to present concisely and with detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must know, understand, and comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information.
