As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting our physicians and clinical team in delivering high-quality women's healthcare.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service.
  • Obtain patient health histories and accurately document information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Prepare exam rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for patient visits.
  • Perform vital signs and preliminary clinical assessments.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
  • Accurately document patient visits, medications, laboratory requests, diagnostic testing, and patient education.
  • Provide medical scribe support when needed.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient clinic flow and an exceptional patient experience.
  • Help foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented culture focused on outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

 

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about women's health.

  • Experience working in a medical office and/or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology is required.
  • Athena experience helpful.
  • One or more years of experience in a medical office is preferred.
  • Previous OB/GYN experience is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.
  • A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
